Tecla Shaffer

Tecla participated in a class I gave called, Design, the Silk Scarf & More. She took the techniques and ran with them and made this spectacular scarf. She went a few steps beyond anyone else in the class by adding this magnificent fringe. What a talented artist.

Tecla made this magnificent purse using the Bellinzona Cube pattern and designs.
Tecla made this incredible duvet cover for her niece.
Some of the squares have embroidery from the crystal treasures design set. She used the appliques of the cats because her niece, Taylor, loves cats.

You can see some of the of the other squares here. The crazy quilt looking square is done as a stack and whack. The original square seemed a little plain so she added the trim.

She stenciled cats (her own design) on the other squares. You can see half of one of the stencil squares at the top of this picture.

All I can say is, what a lucky niece!

Tecla embellished this scarf using stencils and stamps. The stamps are from the Bullard Designs Stamp Set Flower Boxes  Close up of the stamps Flower Boxes
